국내의 심상치 않은 상황으로 마음이 어렵고 몸이 힘든 시기를 보내시고 계실
선후배님들을 생각하며, 자료나마 나누기 위해 오랜만에 인사드립니다.
지난 달 11월 7일부터 12월 4일까지 1개월동안 김정운총장님(광양), 신임숙총장님(순천)과 함께 아시아태평양YMCA(APAY) 간사학교(ASP)에 참가하고 돌아왔습니다. 홍콩간사학교 일정과 강의자료, 그리고 같은 기간에 진행되었던 에큐메니컬리더십컨퍼런스 관련자료(발표자료, 선언문 등)을 안내드립니다. 자료가 많아 제 블로그에 자료를 링크해 드립니다. 홍콩간사학교에 대해 참고가 되리라 생각됩니다.
지난 10월에는 많은 분들의 도움으로 20여일 동안 팔레스타인에 다녀왔습니다. 올리브트리캠페인 기간에 참여해 많은 국가에서 참여한 평화활동가들을 만나고 배우는 시간이 되었습니다. 또한 동예루살렘YMCA와 기독교 유관기관 등을 방문하여 평화의 청년리더십 육성을 위한 활동과 다양한 활동들을 보고 배울 수 있었습니다. 이와 관련한 것들을 안내드립니다. (https://goo.gl/rFJDe2)
내년 2월부터 3개월동안 팔레스타인에서 진행되는 WCC EAPPI 프로그램에 참여하기로 하였습니다. 분리장벽과 체크포인트 등에서의 활동과 이슬람과 유대, 기독교인 등과 평화증진을 위한 활동 등으로 기독교의 변혁을 위한 신학을 배우고 한반도 평화운동 증진을 위한 연대에 참여할 수 있는 기회가 될 것 같습니다.
변화의 급물살을 타고 있는 시기인 것 같습니다. 요동치는 겉 모습과는 달리 사회 모든 영역에 덕지덕지 쌓여있는 역사의 오랜 찌거기들은 짐짓 물러서는 듯하면서도 역사의 물레방아를 거꾸로 돌리기 위해 또한 모든 수단을 다하고 있는 듯이 보입니다. 탄핵 이후 쉽지 않은 일정과 싸움이 지속되리라 생각됩니다. 도도한 역사의 현장에 같이 있지 못한 것이 못내 마음이 쓰입니다. 와이 선후배님들의 건강과 수고를 위해 기도드립니다.
