팔레스타인 BDS위원회 소개

Palestinian BDS National Committee

불매운동, 투자철회, 경제제재를 위한 광범위하고 지속적인 캠페인 필요성에 관하여 팔레스타인 시민사회는 폭넓은 합의를 하였고 이스라엘에 대한 불매운동, 투자 철회, 경제제재 요청이라는 결과를 낳았으며 2005년 7월 170개 이상의 팔레스타인 단체들의 지지로 시작되었다. 이 요청에 대한 서명자들은 주요 3부류의 팔레스타인 사람들이다. 즉 유배된 난민, 점령하의 서안과 가자지구 팔레스타인인 그리고 이스라엘 국가의 차별받는 팔레스타인 시민이다.

BDS 캠페인을 조직하는 노력은 2015년 요청이 대중에 공개된 이래로 급격히 증가하였으며 2007년 11월 라말라에서 개최된 첫 번째 팔레스타인 BDS 회의에서 정점을 이루었다. 이 회의에서 BDS 전국위원회가 전 세계 BDS 캠페인을 위한 팔레스타인 조직기구로서 등장하였다.

BNC의 권한과 역할 :

• 불매운동을 이스라엘의 점령, 식민지주의 그리고 인종차별주의에 대한 시민적 저항의 중심체로서 불매운동을 강화하고 전파한다.

• 2005년 7월 9일 팔레스타인 시민사회 BDS와 일치하여 행동 전략과 프로그램을 만든다.

• 팔레스타인과 전 세계에서 BDS 캠페인을 위한 팔레스타인의 준거점 역할을 한다.

• 팔레스타인 내의 반정상화를 위한 전국적 준거점 역할을 한다.

• 모든 지역에서 다양한 BDS 캠페인 노력에 지원과 격려를 제공하고 협조를 촉진한다.

BNC의 주요한 활동

• BNC 성명서, 대중 연설을 준비하고 전파하며 3월 30일의 연례 국제 BDS 행동의 날(팔레스타인 땅의 날)을 조직함으로써 지역적으로, 국제적으로 EDS 활동가들과 캠페인하기

• 정책입안자에게 브리핑과 로비활동을 통하여 옹호하기

• 인종차별주의, 식민주의, 점령의 이스라엘정권을 인정하거나 협력하는 프로젝트와 발제안에 반대하는 BNS 행동촉구의 방법을 통하여 모니터하고 신속한 반응하기

• 전문적 미디어 전략에 토대를 한 팔레스타인과 해외에 미디어 전도하기

• 지역적, 국제적 조직회의의 준비를 포함하여 지역적, 국제적으로 BDS 활동가들과 협력하기

• 워크숍, BNC 자료, BDS 캠페인 사이트(www.bdsmovement.net)를 통하여 BNC 분석, 기준 그리고 BDS 캠페인에 관하여 활동가와 단체를 교육하고 인식 제고하기

• 아랍 국가에서 BDS 캠페인 전개하기

• 연구와 BDS 전략 개발
